This episode features a conversation with Associate Professor Zach Aman of The University of Western Australia about the research he and his team are undertaking into the formation of hydrates in natural gas.
Zach’s gas hydrates research includes the use of the CSIRO-managed HyJump flow loop, which is the world’s only simulation loop for subsea jumpers. The loop is being used for a collaborative project to investigate hos hydrates form in these complex pieces of pipeline. They are also involved in a number of other collaborative projects, including working with IFE in Norway and the Corrosion Centre located at Curtin University.
